Quả bồ quân là loại quả ăn chơi được chị em phụ nữ ưa thích, trong khi rễ cây bồ quân lại là vị thuốc chữa được nhiều bệnh “khó nói” cho cánh mày râu.

1. Giới thiệu cây bồ quân

Bồ quân hay còn gọi là hồng quân, mùng quân hay mận quân. Vốn là một loài cây mọc trong rừng, chỉ có ở một số vùng trung du phía Bắc và vùng núi của khu vực miền Trung.

Cậy bồ quân là loại cây thân gỗ, có gai nên rất khó trèo. Cây lâu năm rất to , tán rộng. Cây đặc biệt ưa thời tiết , khí hậu khắc nghiệt, thích sống đất đồi sỏi đá và đặc biệt chưa thấy loại sâu nào ăn quả này , lúc nào cũng lúc lỉu, căng mọng, nhờ thế mà tránh được các loại chất hóa học như thuốc trừ sâu… Quả bồ quân vì thế cũng được coi là 1 loại quả sạch, quả dại được rất nhiều chị em ưa chuộng.

Quả bồ quân nhỏ như trái sung, trái mận com. Khi xanh có vị chát, quả từ màu xanh ngả vàng rồi sang màu đỏ tươi và cuối cùng là đỏ thẫm, tím lịm như quả nho. Đó là lúc vị quả ngon nhất và càng chín dập càng ngon. Chính vì thế người ta hay vo viên cho đến khi quả mềm nhũn, căng mọng mới bắt đầu bóc vỏ ăn. Sau vị chát nhẹ nơi đầu lưỡi là vị béo bùi, ngầy ngậy rất khó diễn tả, phần thịt quả dẻo như cơm nếp, thơm thơm. Trái bồ quân dù có chín quá thì cũng không ngọt lịm mà lúc nào cũng chỉ ngọt thanh, nhẹ dịu để lại vị chát nơi đầu lưỡi chút dư vị của kí ức những ngày còn thơ.

Theo y học dân gian, quả bồ quân có vị ngọt, chua và hơi chát, có tác dụng làm se niêm mạc dạ dày và ruột, làm giảm tiết dịch vị, tốt cho gan mật, sạch khí huyết. Ăn nhiều gây nhuận trường nhẹ, đó là lý do phụ nữ mang thai không nên ăn quả bồ quân.

Ngoài tài liệu dân gian thì hiện nay chưa có nhiều nghiên cứu về công dụng của quả bồ quân. Tuy nhiên các bộ phận của cây như thân và rễ (đặc biệt là rễ) được dùng làm thuốc chữa một số căn bệnh khó nói của đàn ông.

2. Rễ cây bồ quân vị thuốc quý ít ai ngờ

Bộ phận quan trọng nhất của cây quân là rễ. Rễ bồ quân được coi như thần dược trị bệnh u xơ tiền liệt tuyến cho các đấng mày râu.

Theo các tài liệu nghiên cứu khoa học thì rễ bồ quân có chứa các hoạt chất: Alcoloid và tanins và một số hoạt chất khác.

Qua thử nghiệm lâm sàng từ một đề tài nghiên cứu khoa học đã chứng minh được rễ cây bồ quân có tác dụng cực kỳ hữu hiệu trong xử lý các chứng tiểu dắt, khó tiểu do bệnh u xơ tiền liệt tuyến.

Tác dụng chính của rễ bồ quân là: Hỗ trợ iều trị u xơ tiền liệt tuyến; Giải quyết các chứng bí tiểu, đi tiểu không hết nước tiểu; và Xử lý các chứng bệnh về viêm nhiễm đường tiểu.

Rễ bồ quân dùng được cho những đối tượng: – Bệnh nhân u xơ, viêm nhiễm đường tiết liệu với các triệu chứng: – Rối loạn bài tiết, tiểu không hết nước tiểu – Đau tức vùng hạ vị, cầu bàng quang bị căng to – Tiểu đêm nhiều

3. Từ rễ bồ quân đến sản phẩm chữa bệnh “khó nói” cho cánh mày râu

Với bài thuốc dân gian, chỉ cần dùng vài mẩu rễ cây quân rửa sạch, bỏ vào ống nứa hay nồi nhỏ, nấu lên theo công thức 3 bát nước, sắc cho còn 1 bát, uống trong ngày. Những mẩu rễ này có thể sắc di sắc lại vài lần.

Uống liên tục chừng 3 ngày thì những tình trạng: đái dắt, đái khó, thường hay mót rặn lâu nhưng có cảm giác đi không hết bãi… sẽ hết.

Kiên trì dùng 1 tháng, người bệnh sẽ có giấc ngủ êm, giảm cho đến hết phản xạ đi tiểu đêm. Chấm dứt tình trạng khét khắm, do quần áo, nội y bị dính những giọt nước tiểu sót rỉ ra dây vào…

Đặc biệt, mất hẳn các triệu chứng cầu bàng quang căng to, đau tức vùng hạ vị.
