Bệnh Phì đại tuyến tiền liệt là một bệnh về tuyến tiền liệt có tỷ lệ nam giới bị mắc khá cao đây cũng chính là bệnh thường gặp ở người trung niên và người già.
Khi thấy bản thân có những triệu chứng như tiểu gấp, tiểu đêm nhiều lần, đi tiểu phải rặn khởi động thì đó là dấu hiệu bệnh lý. Bạn cần phải đến gặp bác sỹ chuyên khoa để được chuẩn đoán chính xác và điều trị kịp thời.
Hậu quả khi mắc bệnh u phì đại tiền liệt tuyến?
U phì đại mà to sẽ chèn lấn vào đường niệu đạo gây nên các triệu chứng tắc nghẽn đường tiểu, làm ảnh hưởng đến sinh hoạt và cuộc sống của người bệnh. Khi u xơ gây chèn ép, ứ trệ nước tiểu sẽ gây nên một số hậu quả như: Viêm đường tiết niệu, nguy hiểm hơn nếu viêm nhiễm này đi ngược lên trên gây viêm đài – bể thận (một bệnh nhiễm khuẩn tiết niệu rất nặng), nếu ứ trệ nặng và kéo dài có thể dẫn đến suy thận mạn tính.
Giải quyết như thế nào?
Không phải tất cả những người mắc u phì đại đều phải điều trị. Những người bệnh không bị ảnh hưởng nhiều bởi các triệu chứng của phì đại tuyến tiền liệt thường không phải điều trị nhưng được kiểm tra định kỳ để xem tình trạng bệnh có trở nên xấu đi hay không. Lưu ý là cần xét nghiệm PSA để xem có bị ung thư hay không.
Và việc điều trị phì đại tuyến tiền liệt bằng phương pháp nào còn phụ thuộc vào các yếu tố: + Tuổi tác + Tình trạng sức khỏe của người bệnh + Khối lượng của tuyến tiền liệt + Các dấu hiệu, triệu chứng của người bệnh
Sử dụng thuốc gì?
Lưu ý: không được tự ý sử dụng thuốc mà không có sự chỉ dẫn của bác sĩ, thông tin đưa ra mang tính chất tham khảo.
- Tây y (Nguồn tham khảo)
Có 2 nhóm thuốc được sử dụng phổ biến để điều trị phì đại tuyến tiền liệt lành tính (phì đại tuyến tiền liệt) là nhóm ức chế alpha (alpha blockers) và nhóm ức chế 5-alpha reductase (5- alpha reductase inhibitors).
– Nhóm ức chế Alpha (Alpha blockers) gồm 4 loại:
- + Hytrin (terazosin)
- + Uroxatral (alfuzosin)
- + Flomax (tamsulosin)
- + Cardura (doxazosin)
Cơ chế hoạt động của 4 thuốc này là làm giãn cơ ở tuyến tiền liệt và cổ bàng quang. Do đó làm tăng dòng nước đái và làm giảm nhẹ nhiều triệu chứng của phì đại tuyến tiền liệt. Flomax và Uroxatral – 2 loại thuốc mới hơn này cho hiệu quả tốt hơn và ít tác dụng phụ hơn 2 thuốc cũ là Hytrin và Cardura.
Tuy nhiên những tác dụng phụ khi sử dụng 4 loại thuốc này được ghi nhận gồm có: choáng váng, mệt mỏi, rối loạn chức năng dạ dày ruột, nghẹt mũi, nhức đầu. Ở một số ít trường hợp, người bệnh có thể bị tụt áp huyết.
– Nhóm ức chế 5-Alpha Reductase (5-Alpha Reductase Inhibitors):
- Avodart (dutasteride)
- Proscar (finasteride)
Hai thuốc này làm giảm bớt kích thước của tuyến tiền liệt phì đại và có thể ngăn chặn tuyến tiền liệt lớn trở lại. Chúng thường chỉ giúp giảm triệu chứng, giảm bớt bí tiểu và có thể giúp bệnh nhân không phải phẫu thuật. Tuy nhiên các triệu chứng bệnh sẽ chỉ được cải thiện sau thời gian dùng thuốc từ 3 đến 6 tháng.
Các tác dụng phụ khi dùng hai loại thuốc này có thể gặp: Rối loạn cương dương, giảm ham muốn và giảm số lượng tinh trùng. Ngoài ra các thuốc này còn khiến kết quả xét nghiệm PSA bị thay đổi, do đó có thể cần phải xét nghiệm máu lại nhiều lần khi bệnh nhân dùng thuốc.
– Phối hợp thuốc điều trị: Tùy theo tình trạng bệnh, bác sĩ có thể khuyên bạn nên dùng thuốc chẹn alpha và thuốc ức chế reductase 5-alpha cùng một lúc nếu việc điều trị bằng một trong hai loại thuốc không đem lại hiệu quả.
Trong Đông Y vốn không nhắc tới phì địa tuyến tiền liệt, tuy nhiên các triệu chứng và hệ quả của nó đã được ông cha ta nghiên cứu và giải quyết từ rất lâu đời. Phương pháp điều trị bệnh bằng Đông y là sử dụng sự kết hợp của nhiều loại thảo dược khác nhau. Trong dân gian có lưu truyền nhiều cây thuốc trợ giúp giải quyết các vấn đề khó nói do phì đại tuyến tiền liệt đem lại như tiểu đêm, tiểu khó, tiểu rắt…
Trong đó phải kể đến rễ Cây Bồ Quân, rễ được phơi khô sắc nước uống có tác dụng rất mạnh với đàn ông trung niên và cao tuổi khi mắc các chứng bệnh Tiểu dắt, tiểu khó, đêm đi tiểu nhiều lần, đau căng tức vùng bàng quang…
Ngày nay y học hiện đại đã nghiên cứu ra rằng, trong Bồ Quân có chứa các hoạt chất Flavornoids là tác nhân giúp cho tuyến tiền liệt giãn mềm, đồng thời làm giãn cơ vòng ở cổ bàng quang, nhờ đó không còn chèn ép lên niệu đạo gây ra các hiện tượng rối loạn đường tiểu kể trên. Nhiều trường hợp sử dụng nước uống từ rễ Bồ Quân trong thời gian dài thì kích thước có thuyên giảm, tuy nhiên không giống như việc giảm kích thước ở các loại thảo dược khác, chỉ tác động lên các tế bào tuyến tiền liệt bị tổn thương và phù nề.
